The study of handwriting is a valuable tool for revealing people’s talents, abilities, emotions, motivations and reactions. Throughout the world, graphoanalysis has been utilized in criminal investigations, screening job applications, vocational guidance, and psychological counseling.

Feeling forlorn, used and confused? Worrying about bills? Wondering if you should change careers? Are you and your mate compatible or completely incompatible? What makes a good relationship?

Sit down and write me a “Dear Dena.” What if you’re are thinking “I write a certain way because I’m left handed, or I write that way because I hold the pen backwards, so how can you analyze it?”

Whether you write with your right or your left hand, foot, mouth– it makes no difference! Because handwriting is not handwriting. It’s brain writing. It’s the unconscious coming through on paper in the form of signs. It’s sort of written body language in universally understood symbols.

We’re all handwriting analysts. We do it instinctively. Some writing we like and some we can’t stand because we sense the person; we sense the essence of the personality. Instinctively, we get a feel for the writer.

But it takes a trained and experienced graphoanalyst to tell you more. Please feel free to peruse my letters of reference and my background (listed on this website) to understand and appreciate the level of my experience.
So please write me a “Dear Dena” (Dear Abby style) letter in script, on unlined paper, with your usual pen. If you ordinarily print, send that, in addition to the same letter in your print form. Keep it short and to the point. I’ll answer, via mail, in the light of what I see in your handwriting. I’ll also include an explanation.
I also appreciate any feedback you may have once you have received my response.

The question can be about anything, as long as it’s about your own issues or your relationship to somebody or something. And of course it must be sincere. It should require more than a “yes” or “no” answer, have a situation in it, and ask a direct question. Anything made-up will just be wasting your time and money.

Please no fortune-telling requests. I cannot tell the future. Sign it with something like “Frustrated”, or whatever you think fits, or not at all. But you must give your gender and age (not discernible from handwriting) at the very end of your letter. There is only passive and aggressive, mature and immature regardless of age and gender.

Download and print-out the Letter Submission Form. Fill out the front page of the form completely and sign it. Write your Dear Dena letter on the back, make your payment and mail to the address listed.

That’s all you have to do.

To find the Letter Submission Form, Dena’s background, Letters of Reference and samples of past Dear Dena columns all you have to do is to click on the links here or in the column to the left of this text.
